The EMBO workshop, an event bringing together over 60 early-stage researchers, field leaders and industry players from bioinformatics, computational biology, HPC and more, is taking place at Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Spain from 26 November to 1 December 2023.
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is hosting the “Computational models of life: From molecular biology to digital twins“, workshop together with financial support from the PerMedCoE project. This training opportunity presents cutting edge techniques at the crossroads of single-cell omics, modelling and HPC to pave the way for realistic, scalable human digital twins. Early-career researchers and speakers from around the world are joining this five day event. PerMedCoE is a proud sponsor of 10 grants awarded to female participants to help promote diversity and equality in the event.
The workshop provides a great opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange among all attendees. Early career researchers will have numerous opportunities to delve into the professional and academic backgrounds of speakers. The event will feature scientific speed dating, flash talks, meet the speaker sessions, discussions on career path, poster sessions and the social activities, allowing attendees to make the most of this workshop.
The programme, the speakers and all the event information are available on the website and LinkedIn.
