Every year the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) organises the CompBioMed-PATC Winter Course on HPC-based Computational Medicine. The course gives a wide perspective and latest trends of how HPC enhances industrial, clinical and research applications allowing to achieve more realistic multiphysics simulations. The course digs on the basics behind the main tools: computational mechanics and parallelisation for HPC infrastructures.
During the last few years, this training has been delivered in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence CompBioMed. This year, PerMedCoE is invited to participate with the session ‘Personalised Medicine Centre of Excellence: how can HPC cell-level simulations help us fight against cancer and COVID‘ by Alfonso Valencia and Arnau Montagud (BSC).
The 2021 edition is held on-line for the first time and takes place on 16-19 February 2021. More information and registration are available here.
