PerMedCoe at Basel Computational Biology Conference [BC]2 2023

The PerMedCoe team comfirmed its participation in the upcoming Basel Computational Biology Conference (BC2) 2023, which will take place in-person from September 11-13, 2023, in Basel, Switzerland. The conference will also feature a virtual component for those who are unable to attend in-person.

As part of the BC2 conference, there will be a day of tutorials and workshops on Monday, September 11, 2023. The PerMedCoe team will participate in these tutorials and workshops alongside other partners, which are yet to be decided. The tutorials and workshops provide a unique opportunity to learn about the latest bioinformatics methods, discuss technical issues, exchange research ideas, and share practical experiences on focused or emerging topics in bioinformatics.

One of the highlights of the workshops is the “Mechanistic and AI digital twins in personalized medicine – two sides of the same coin” full-day workshop. This event will delve into the fascinating world of AI and personalized medicine. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with professionals in the field. The submission deadline is June 15th (extended until June 20th!), so sign up today! To register, please contact Laurence Calzone (Research Scientist; Institut Curie, U900 INSERM & Mines Paris Tech; France) at Laurence.Calzone@curie.fr.

The BC2 conference program features inspiring keynote lectures by international experts, scientific presentations from selected abstracts, tutorials and workshops to foster hands-on capabilities, interactive poster sessions, and networking activities to refresh the mind and connect with peers in a friendly atmosphere. All speakers and oral presenters will be presenting live, in-person at the congress venue.

The PerMedCoe team is excited to participate in this conference and looks forward to contributing to the scientific discussions and networking opportunities that the conference offers. The team is committed to promoting the use of personalized medicine in healthcare through bioinformatics and will continue to participate in events that help this mission.
