Co-located within the 2022 International Super Computing (ISC) conference, the BSC co-hosted a workshop on High Performance Computing Applications in Precision Medicine.

This Sixth ISC HPC Applications in Precision Medicine Workshop (HAPM23), held on 25 May 2023, focused on the next phase of successful introduction of HPC into biomedical workflows including the introduction of digital twins and predictive models from research to clinical application.

With the combined interest from a growing group of in-person attendees, ISC is now serving as a key ongoing hub for collaborative discussion in HPC in precision medicine, drawing from across Europe as well as North America and Asia. The HPC Applications in Precision Medicine workshop fufilled its aim to bring together the international computational and life sciences communities to share experiences, examine current challenges, and explore future opportunities for applications of high-performance computing in precision medicine.
